We are a 501(c) 3 nonprofit, entrepreneurial organization focused on innovative ways to grow minority businesses and a skilled workforce. Our mission is to educate and empower those wishing to achieve and maintain financial independence for themselves and the community.

Unlock the full potential of your business with our comprehensive range of innovative and tailored services, designed to boost productivity, enhance efficiency, and drive sustainable growth.
My business has been a client of the MBDC and has reaped the benefits of entrepreneurial start up assistance, coaching, and resources. I was working on my own without any legal structure and the MBDC helped me set up my LLC, get my accounting in order, and set up back-office support.
I am a new business owner and I have worked closely with MBDC in the Entrepreneurial program to set up my LLC and to get one-on-one coaching to ensure that I started my business off right. I have appreciated what was available at MBDC with my access to business experts and resources. The Minority Business Development Center is a much-needed asset to the community and needs the support of funding organizations to ensure long-term success.
I own a medical supply business and support the local hospitals in Peoria County. The MBDC helped me set up a commercial address and mailbox service so that my surgical instruments and supplies could be securely shipped and stored at their location. They also assisted me in receiving a $10,000 grant from the City of Peoria. I would not have been as successful in this industry without the help of the MBDC.
My business has greatly benefited from our partnership with MBDC. They provided invaluable support with entrepreneurial startup assistance, coaching, and resources.
