The RWSC also offers two customer service certification programs – Customer Service Specialist and Customer Service Manager.
Customer Service Specialist:
This course will help learners develop soft skills and prepare for the course’s final assessment. Topics included are safety, ethics, respect, teamwork, communication, telephone and email techniques, problem-solving, interpersonal relationships, and sales and marketing. The Customer Service Specialist is an industry-recognized credential.
Certified Service Manager:
The course is ideal for new managers or owners of service businesses. Topics covered include manager responsibilities and objectives, personnel profiles and job descriptions, team building, training, hiring and employment laws, employee compensation systems, customer relations policies and skills, service policies, service/production area development, financial and parts department management, warranties and risk of liability, contract negotiation, vehicle procurement and maintenance, association memberships/involvement, quality systems, and project management. The Certified Service Manager is an industry-recognized credential.
Information Technology Credentials:
The RWSC also partners with our Information Technology program to ensure that participants have the necessary computer skills to be successful in their career or business. The IT training includes Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace, along with other important business and professional applications. Participants are also encouraged to participate in the CompTia IT Fundamentals or A+ Advanced courses in which, after passing the national certification exam, they are connected with our hiring partners in the technology field.
